Thursday Night League

The 2021 schedule is set along with some important updates:

The 2021 Thursday Night League will in many ways run as it has in previous years with a few new changes.  We will continue to use the main rules of The Sticks.

Launching will continue to occur at 5pm with lines in at 5:30pm.  Lines out will be announced prior to each event via the Facebook event.

The Facebook event will be used to to post your 3 best largemouth bass.  The identifier paypal address will be posted in each event.

Any event having 10 anglers or more, will pay out the top 3 spots. The winner will receive 50% of the total entry fees. Second place will receive 30% and third 20%.  If there are 9 anglers or fewer, only the top 2 will be paid at 60% and 40% of the total entry fees.

2021 Changes:

Angler of the Year – Angler of the Year points will be awarded separately between Lincoln and Omaha; therefore first at each city will receive 100, second 99, third 98, etc.  The Angler of the Year for each city will then fish head to head at the final event on Wanahoo and a 2021 Thursday Night League Angler of the Year will be crowned.

Big Bass Entry fees will stay at $15 with an optional $5 Big Bass pot.  The $5 big bass fee will be split into two pots.  $2.50 goes into the biggest bass of the event pot.  The other $2.50 goes into a pot that grows all year until someone catches a 20” fish.  If the season-long pot continues until the final event; 25% will be moved to the Wanahoo big bass pot and the remaining will be paid out to the biggest bass of the final event of each city and split evenly if there is a tie for biggest bass at that event.

Jareth Kaup will be the Director for Lincoln and Rick Valadez for Omaha.  Please reach out to them with any additional questions.
